Where did the time go? A year later here we are. With everything going on, I chose to take time off and enjoy the small things like spending time with my nephews and focusing on my physical and mental health with the goal of getting back into the studio refreshed and excited to work on new things. Today, that's where I am, back in the studio working on planning out new work and continuing unfinished pieces. If you would allow me, let me catch you up on what I have been working on thus far and some current and upcoming shows.
I look forward to what this year has in store.
Despite taking time off, I aim to make one new lightbox a year, at minumum, and 2020's lighbox was Transient Ascension.
With so much going on in the world this past year, I have asked myself many times why make art, am I relevant, is it worth it. I doubt I can give myself an answer to these questions but my work helps me sort through the possible answers. What is the most important part of me? This and many more things became the groundwork that led to the creation of Transient Ascension, an end goal never to be achieved, an endless circle of trying to rise.
Additional images of the piece can be found on my website.
Currently, the piece is installed at Main Street Arts in Clifford Springs, NY for Adrift.

Acton Memorial Library
In March/April 2021, I had a virtual solo show at the Acton Memorial Library and while it is sad to not have been able to have it as a physical exhibition and celebrate in person I am glad to have been part of their exhibtion schedule.

Boston Athenaeum Project Update
I wish I could say there has been more progress than there has been but Covid has created a multitude of complications for this project. Images for Volume 2 have been selected and final image correction is underway. At this time a date for physical copies is on hold as myself and my bookbinder await some necessary supplies and tools. As things reopen and travel becomes freer I hope to work restart shooting for Volume 3 and have that underway as things are progressing with Volume 2.
The hopes for an off-set press run is still something continue to work toward.
