All life is subject to the flow of time, through layering, I seek to explore the intricacies that shape who we are. Transparency focuses on the central markers of time, such as past, present, and future. Each piece represents one of these concepts though metaphorical representations of time. The past and our memories are burdened by the constant adage of information that it holds and processes. The present is where we stand full of options and hopeful for the future. And finally, the future is the path we walk down willingly or not. By printing the photographs on acetate and hanging them in back-lit steel structures I seek to imitate the fragility and permanence that is time.
